Out & Proud è una celebrazione dell’autenticità, del coraggio e della visibilità nello sport. L’evento si svolgerà sabato 14 febbraio e rende omaggio agli atleti LGBTQIA+ apertamente dichiarati, il cui impatto va ben oltre la competizione.

Organizzato in collaborazione con il Proud Champions Network di Compete Proud e Fier-Play Out & Proud riunisce atleti d’élite che hanno scelto di vivere in modo autentico, sia dentro che fuori dal campo.

Attraverso storie personali e conversazioni sincere, l’evento esplora cosa significa fare coming out nello sport, la responsabilità e l’impatto della visibilità degli atleti, e il potere dei modelli di riferimento nel creare ambienti sportivi più sicuri e inclusivi. Sottolinea come l’esperienza vissuta, quando condivisa apertamente, possa ispirare le generazioni più giovani e promuovere un cambiamento culturale significativo nello sport.

Out & Proud is a celebration of authenticity, courage, and visibility in sport. Held on Saturday, February 14, the event honors openly LGBTQIA+ athletes whose impact goes far beyond competition.

Organized in collaboration with the Proud Champions Network of Compete Proud and Fier-Play, Out & Proud brings together elite athletes who have chosen to live authentically, both on and off the field.

Through personal stories and candid conversations, the event explores what it means to come out in sport, the responsibility and impact of athlete visibility, and the power of role models in creating safer, more inclusive sporting environments. It highlights how openly shared experiences can inspire younger generations and drive meaningful cultural change in sport.
